Tom Kennedy has more than 25 years of healthcare experience with the bulk of his career spent in hospital administration. As a senior administrator at various hospitals, Tom established a record of charismatic leadership and outcome focused results. As President and Chief Operating Officer of Bristol Hospital and Health Care Group in Bristol, CT, Tom was responsible for running a 134 bed hospital and a $130 million local area health care system (128 bed nursing home, home care agency, mental health center, ambulance company and a 30 physician medical group). Prior to his position at Bristol Hospital, Tom held senior management positions at various hospitals and health care systems, including; the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor Health Systems of Brooklyn Heights, NY, the John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Edison, NJ, the Montclair Community Hospital, Montclair, NJ, and the Benedictine Hospital of Kingston, NY.

Over the years Tom has been active in professional and civic associations and is a former board member of the American Hospital Association. Tom currently serves as Chairman of the Mental Health Task Force of the American Hospital Association of Chicago, IL.

Tom holds a B.A. from Harvard University and a Master of Hospital Administration from Duke University.
