Dr. Galluzzo has more than 26 years of healthcare experience ranging from hospital to physician to homecare. She has worked in Chief Executive Officer positions in both the non-for-profit and for-profits sectors.

Donna is currently President and CEO of Homecare Management Strategies, Inc. and OMNI Medical Billing Plus of Wallingford, CT. These firms provide strategic financial services to physician practices and home health agencies. With over 20 years experience and a proven record of success, these companies process millions of health care claims annually.

Prior to running HMS/OMNI, Donna has a long history as a provider. She was President and COO of The Connecticut VNA and directed the largest network of home health and hospice care agencies in Connecticut with annual revenues in excess of $54,000,000. All agencies in this progressive system were Medicare certified, Connecticut state licensed, and Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Health Organizations (JCAHO) accredited. Donna oversaw the core services of skilled nursing, therapies, medical social work, home health aides and homemakers. These services were provided to over 12,000 clients annually. The Connecticut VNA operated 12 patient service offices strategically located throughout the state and employed over 1,500 individuals.

Illustrative of Galluzzo’s impressive honors, awards, and professional memberships is her service on a national health care task force named by former President Bush. She also belongs to the Senatorial Inner Circle, a select group named by the U.S. Senate.

Dr. Galluzzo holds an M.S. in Nutritional Sciences from Loma Linda University and a Ph.D. in Nutritional Biochemistry from the University of Connecticut.
